Governor Ivey is a Christian and a sincere woman.
OK. I want to go on record here. It is true when I was 9 years old our Cub Scout Den had to do a skit Shine on Harvest Moon and one of us had to wear a dress and pretend to be the girl. Since my mother was the Den mother and no one else would do it I had to. So it is true I wore a dress once when I was nine years old in a Cub Scout skit. I have never been a homosexual or a transsexual and I begged my mother desperately for weeks not to make me do that in front of everybody.
So Don’t Give A Damn
Too late. Off with the head.
Not all Christians cave to the oppressor...the 1960s were a different time...I wouldn't want to follow her into battle.
I never understood the attraction.
Black-faced skits are funny as well. No need for people to apologize for anything they did 50 years ago. How long before democrats call Al Jolson a racist?
I’m more upset that the first thing she did after the election was raise the gas taxes. If people want to be mad about something pick that.

I have to giver her a bit of credit. At least she owed up to it.
That’s very different from the governor of Virginia.
Ivy is probably the most pro life conservative in the country and democrats would love to ruin her life. Off with her head for a college skit almost 60 years ago. Burn her at the stake.
Get ready for the Democrat Hypocrites who defended Gov. Northam when he was exposed as a racist wearing blackface, and now those same people will now line up to attack Gov. Ivey and demand that she resign.
I will also make an admission. Back in the 60’s I dressed up like a chick and went all over the neighborhood. A lot of people saw me do it.
But, I was 10 and it was Halloween. I haven’t done any cross dressing since that night.
DANG!
I bet you were cute in that dress.
I’m gonna call your Mom and have her post the picture of you in a dress singing Shine on Harvest Moon.
I’m reasonably familiar with the blackface tradition in American vaudeville.
With that noted, I’ve never found anything particularly funny about black people.
The year must have been 1962. My mom is long gone and so is the dress. But it is possible there is a picture. Thank God Im not a politician.
So there’re no photos or documentation?
Just one guy’s memory from more than 50 years ago?
