After reviewing the matter, the Department declined prosecution.

Accurate. as I have said previously. Does any of the language in the OIG report preclude the DOJ from taking any additional action now that the report is in hand?

No report can do that.

What this report includes though, is a statement that the DOJ has reached a decision. While the decision is not irrevocable, the fact pattern is such that an attempt at criminal prosecution would be ridiculous.

DOJ watchdog says Comey violated FBI policies

Yeah.. well anyone with a brain knew that well over two years ago.

What most people wonder is "WHEN IN THE HELL, IF EVER, ARE THEY GOING TO INDICT AND PROSECUTE?"

“Justice has not been served.”

We don’t have a Justice System we have a Legal System.

“”Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz declined to make a recommendation as to whether or not to charge the former FBI chief””

No one wants to do anything about the lawlessness in DC. I have always said and believed and in this case had no reason to change my mind and think it would turn out any different - IG’s all over the federal government are a TOTAL waste of taxpayer money. They have a license to steal our money for worthless jobs. They are no different than the guy “monitoring” security at banks or looking for termites - ala TV commercials; “we just report, we’re not here to actually accomplish anything!” The IG didn’t need that long to write a report that didn’t say anything.

What a disgrace and like someone on FOX said this morning - maybe Senator Kennedy from LA - Comey ruined the reputation of the greatest law enforcement agency in the world. That’s AFTER his opening comment was, “He’s a meathead.” I love that man - we need to clone him!!

Comey will remain as belligerent and arrogant as always. He sure did a great job of fooling people. Abraham Lincoln is close to being wrong - you can fool all of the people all of the time.

Are we ever going to lick them? Doesn’t appear that way..

This doesn’t square with your statement.....

The IG does not need to make a recommendation on prosecution, that isn’t his job. That’s the job of the DOJ and the AG. The Attorney General previously declined to prosecute Comey, but he can revisit that decision based on additional evidence that may emerge from anywhere.

Lon Horiuchi was there, in part because Bill Barr defended him pro bono after he assassinated Vicki Weaver as she stood on her own porch at Ruby Ridge with her daughter, not a rifle, in her arms.

Tom DeLay was forced out, and forced to fight lawfare for a decade.

At this point I am not holding my breath that any of these guys will ever be prosecuted.
