When the senate seat that Isakson holds originally came open he and Herman Cain both ran for that seat against each other. I voted for Herman initially but Isakson won the primary so I voted for him in the general election against the Dem.

I think Herman Cain would be an excellent choice, and for reasons, not the least of which is that he would make liberal heads explode.

Beyond that, Herman Cain has very well articulated conservative principles of governance, and for that alone he is just the sort of person the United States needs in the Senate.
