The triple murder victims were all related to Blake Bivens, a minor league player on a Tampa Bay Rays affiliate, according to ESPN. I Aug. 28, 2019, 4:00 AM CDT / Updated Aug. 28, 2019, 10:29 AM CDT By Phil Helsel The wife, child and mother-in-law of a minor league baseball player were allegedly killed in southern Virginia on Tuesday by the player's brother-in-law, according to a report.

Matthew Bernard, 19, was apprehended while running around naked following an hourslong manhunt after police discovered the bodies of Emily Bivens, her son Cullen and her mother, who sources told ESPN were related to Bivens.

Emily was married to Blake Bivens, a Double-A pitcher in the Tampa Bay Rays organization.

The Montgomery Biscuits, the minor league affiliate of the Rays, canceled its double-header Tuesday, alluding to a "tragedy" that had struck their community. Later that evening, the team put out a statement expressing their sympathies for Bivens.

Police learned of the murders Tuesday morning when a neighbor reported that someone may have been shot. When officers arrived, a deputy found a woman dead in the driveway of a home, Pittsylvania County Sheriff Michael W. Taylor said at a news conference Tuesday afternoon.

The deputy found two other victims inside the home and called for help. More than 100 officers from several law enforcement agencies were involved in the search, which ended with the suspect's arrest shortly after noon, he said.

Matthew Bernard, 19, was apprehended while running around naked following an hourslong manhunt . Might hazard a guess that drugs played apart in this tragic event.

“Now we all know that the mentally ill are not violent.” They said so on the Brown SHirt Media just yesterday.

Trump's fault.

Tampa Bay, Mar-a-Lago. Both in Florida. I'm surprised ESPN hasn't already connected the dots.

Also produced by intake of today’s marijuana. (If you were thinking of cocaine-intoxication).

That's a possibility but I wasn't thinking of anything.

Why would you say that? Actually, in the context of this article that is a really stupid thing to say.

OK, so the reporters figured out he’s a brother in law.
His wife’s brother? His sister’s husband?

Mass "shooting."

Drugs.

There. Fixed it. We already have a law that forbids drug abusers from possessing firearms. There's no need for a federal "red flag" law, which would be used to disarm conservatives who are not on drugs.

His family was just wiped out. It’ll be a miracle if he doesn’t take his own life, much less get back on a playing field.

I see the comments implying that the murderer was only mentally ill. Wrong. Drugs were obviously the problem, and it’s obviously an increasing problem.

Stop the drug problem, or everyone will be disarmed against attackers who are on drugs.

And stop the lies to protect drug abuse.
