You’re right. Revenues went up, but spending outpaced revenues. When Trump is finished building national defense, he will focus on the budget.
When Obama was wracking up trillion dollar deficits we were in the depths of the worst recession in decades. When Trump wracks up trillion dollar deficits we're in the midst of the best economy in decades. We should be paying down the deficit under these conditions not running it up a record rates.
