In the United States, the white share of the population is declining as Hispanic, Asian and black populations grow. But the shift to a more diverse nation is happening more quickly in some places than in others.
From 2000 to 2018, 109 counties in 22 states, from California to Kansas to North Carolina, went from majority white to majority nonwhite – that is, counties where non-Hispanic whites are no longer the majority, according to a Pew Research Center analysis of Census Bureau data. (Our analysis includes only counties with a minimum population of 10,000 in 2018. These counties represent 77% of the nation’s 3,142 counties and include 99% of the U.S. population.)

Liberals count blue eyed Hispanics as non-white. I think Asians are non-white to them also.
so black folks aren’t minorities in those counties any more-
or rather i shoudl say ‘so minorities in those counties are no logner minorities but majorities’
The Pew Hispanic Center (they dropped the “hispanic” label a while ago to disguise their bias) always likes to gloat about the declining Whiteys.

At one time, Montgomery county Maryland was said to be one of the wealthiest counties in America. There are still significant wealthy communities there from what I hear. But I also hear that many formerly middle to upper middle class neighborhoods have really changed.
I hear Frederick county has grown quite a bit in recent years. Are we still seeing white flight, but this time, we are seeing white flight from changing suburban areas, as opposed to white flight from the central city?

Maybe a pleasant surprise. Maybe a lot of them are or will become conservatives.
We have seen the enemy. And he is us.
I am concerned with deteriorating values.
Not what color anybody’s skin might be.
If we had a country that upheld traditional values
where I found myself in the minority I’d be okay with it.

Just this morn I was in the grocery store. They have recently put cosmetics behind locked glass.
That’s what deteriorating values brings.
Couldn’t have said it better myself. I don’t care if I’m the only white person around for miles, as long as my neighbors support traditional American values.
I grew up around a lot of White Trash parts of town.
All the same stuff is going on there that people normally point fingers at minorities for.
I hear you. Walmart just lost a cologne sale from me because they had put it all under glass and nobody could find the clerk who had the key.
This was all part of Kennedy’s, Bait & Switch, with Reagan back in the day. You have to give the Dem’s credit, they definitely look long-term. Problem they might have though, as some seem to be waking up is, the black vote. They’re getting pushed out. And it seems like some of them are starting to realize what is going on. Not all of them, but some.
