Calls to Label Mexican Cartels as Terror Groups as They Grow Stronger, More Violent
THE EPOCH TIMES ^ | August 26, 2019 | Charlotte Cuthbertson

The homicide rate in Mexico is rising at record-setting pace this year, with more than 30,000 murders in the first seven months.

It’s on target to hit almost 51,500 deaths by year’s end—about 1,000 more than in 2018 and 6,000 more than in 2017. That’s not accounting for the huge number of disappearances.

“The majority of … cocaine, meth, heroin, fentanyl is coming from Mexico, and the cartels are controlling all of it throughout almost every city in America,”

Wonder if this topic will come up in the next Democratic presidential debate?

Thank God they have gun control! Imagine what a blood bath there would be if they had access to firearms!

Label or not the cartels have terrorized many for years and years. Why is this taking so long? Declare them a terror group, send in the tanks and establish a military buffer zone around the border.

Time to bring our National Guard troops home. Where they belong. And let them defend their states. As they were intended to do.

Actually it was funny, I was watching a Nat Geo thing yesterday afternoon about the Mexican Cartels and some Mexican soldier was showing a bunch of guns that were all stamped “Made in USA” and claiming that all the cartel guns were from the US. Problem is, the guns were 1, a Squad Automatic Weapon, 2, a FUll Auto M16 with underslung grenade launcher, 3, a Belt fed Ma Deuce .50 cal. IOW not a single one that can be “bought in the US”. Yet Nat Geo continued to refer to that bit of video as proof that the cartels buy guns from gun stores in the US and did so repeatedly.

Don’t put labels on them. Put coordinates on them.

Allow me to submit that the reason the cartels continue to exist is because “somebody” wants the price point on their products to stay where it is.

Almost my exact thoughts, We must both be brilliant eh? LOL! Of course if it does become a topic at the next contestant gathering, they’ll simply DEMAND more gun control on us evil American conservative who use the gun show loophole to provide firearms to the cartels. Sounds like common sense to them.

” Why is this taking so long?”

Did you ever think that maybe, just maybe, there are people in our government who are involved?

“Obviously, law enforcement authorities alone have not been sufficient to address the cartel threat to America,” Maltz said. “[Cartels] are causing more death and destruction than any other organization, in the history of my life, to America.”

Yes it is war and the Democrats are collaborating with the enemy.

Some years ago I believe we Trained the Los Zetas Militarily to help fight the Drug Cartels. But over time they decided to become the Cartels.

Why is this even a topic of discussion? This should already have been done. The drugs they traffic are killing American’s every day. The people they traffic are part of the immigration problem?

Declare them a terrorist organization and then give AMLO and the rest of the Mexican government 6 month notice.

If the Mexican government shows a legitimate interest in getting rid of them and fighting them, then the US will assist with technical, logistical and training support. NO DIRECT ACTION. If not................Beginning on 01May2020, drone strikes will commence.
