RE: I see nothing in the Constitution which empowers any branch of government to regulate what substances I can put in my body.

It depends on who pays for the eventual hospital bills. If the fentanyl addict does, then go have fun. If the tax payer has to foot the bill, it becomes the taxpayer’s representatives ( AKA government ) business.

Same could be applied to drivers, skydivers, or any voluntary activity not covered by the Bill Of Rights.
