The Vegans are like the gays .... trying to cram their way of living down everyone else’s throats. The latest rage with Progressives/envirowienies is vegetables only .... anti-meat. The interesting thing is that the SAD (Standard American Diet) & other diets heavy in veggies/grains, low in meat/fat, are NOT based on actual “science”. In fact, real science shows the opposite and you can actually REVERSE Type 2 Diabetes (which is on the rise, same consequences at Type 1 as far as diabetic retinopathy, amputations, kidney failure, etc.). It’s more than disgusting .... it’s nutritional medical malpractice for doctors to not put their patients on a low carb diet & treat T2D with diet, but instead hit them with pills (metformin, glucophage) & then when the pills no longer work, hit them with insulin in ever-increasing amounts. Sorry for the rant, but this has become a “mission” for me - educating people I know and/or love that they CAN get off insulin and return to normal A1c readings with a low carb, high healthy fat diet. BTW, saturated fat is not responsible for heart disease .... the villain is “inflammation” .... how to get inflamed? Eat lots of carbs, grains & vegetable seed oils.

Agreed. The vegan diet is killing people! We cut our carb intake and have lost a lot of weight. Best of all, we have kept the weight off. My blood chemistry is much better now, too and my immune system is a lot better.

and Johns Hopkins says: “Whole foods, on the other hand, are anti-inflammatory. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts and fatty fish.”

whom to believe, so many decisions to make...

Even most of the so called “vegan” primate species actually eat meat protein also. One species cannot even ovulate and produce eggs for reproduction without eating some meat for a period to first activate the ovulation process.

We are biologically designed to eat meat.
