He’s aiming to get there by selling America on the idea that all citizens, ages 18-64, should get a check for $1,000 every month, no strings attached, from the U.S. government.
Yep, even Bill Gates is eligible for the living wage.

The way the nomination system works, it is a competition where the last man standing will benefit.
Historically, there are at most three serious candidates remaining after the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary. The field is narrowed down as time goes on. If you are a survivor then you have a real shot at the nomination just by attrition of your competitors.
He wants to be Biden’s VP pick in the losing effort. Sets him up and the party for the future.
