Virtue-Signaling Jewish Dems Betray Israel and Themselves

President Trump has ripped the Band-Aid off a festering wound: the increasing division between Israel and American Jewish Democrats. This split has been worsening for decades, but the anti-Zionist infection afflicting Jewish Democrats has largely been salved and covered over rather than addressed directly. Now Trump is forcing the matter.

That the Democratic Party has long been moving toward a leftist anti-Zionist ideology, and is willing to harbor anti-Semites within its ranks with nary a quibble, is old news. The last Democrat president, someone named Obama, is no Zionist, and while not personally an anti-Semite, he didn't mind their support. Post-Obama, Democrats have moved more forcefully leftward than he dared and are busy adopting the far left's open hostility to Israel and actively welcoming active and obvious anti-Semites.

The Democratic Party's open embrace of fervently anti-Zionist congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilan Omar, as well as their corresponding anti-Semitism, is the acute problem, but the underlying issue with Jewish Democrats runs deeper. It's an issue that plagues the left in general, and it says much about leftist ideology.

That issue is virtue-signaling — publicly doing or saying things that demonstrate one's good character and moral virtue. Much of the Left's current agenda is largely driven by this dynamic, rather than real needs or credible rationales. Issues like climate change, immigration reform, gun control, on-demand abortion, and national health care are treated as ideological litmus tests often passed via virtue-signaling and little more.

Liberal American Jews tend to be strong virtue-signalers. It likely stems in part from Jewish history itself. Attempting to assimilate into dominant Christian societies, urban European Jews tended to adopt new bourgeois ideas and customs with a vengeance, so much so that this alone occasionally bred resentment.

We are literally living in Clown World. Yesterday we got to see part of the Brown Shirt Media accusing Trump of being a stooge for Israel while on another channel they were accusing him of AntiSemitism. Priceless.

In the mid-seventies, I casually stated to another Jew that 1973 (6-Day War) gave me a sense of pride because Israel won against the mass of united Arabs & against all odds. For me, it was a given and I wasn’t being argumentative.

His actions over the past 40+ years show he was being honest. He’s still ashamed for all the wrong reasons.

Jewish education among the non-religious Jews has fallen off to the point where they feel more allegiance to their libtard principles than they do to G-d. They were not raised to adore their Creator and live by His laws. They were raised with the attitude of "fitting in", a remnant left over from being singled out for massacre in European pogroms, harsh laws, rape, etc. The nail that sticks up gets hammered. So they jettisoned their Jewish clothing, languages, laws, etc. to "fit in". In fact, they sought to out-gentile their non-Jewish neighbors. They adopted Save the Whale, abortion rights, etc. as the objects of their allegiance and zeal instead of longing for Israel and devotion to prayer and observance.

They also worshipped FDR, one of the biggest antisemites of all, who was responsible for thousands and thousands of Jewish deaths at the hands of the Nazis. FDR used the execrable Reform "rabbi" Stephen Wise as one uses a Judas goat in a slaughterhouse to influence America's Jews. Wise advised him not to meet with the 400 Orthodox Rabbis that marched on Washington in 1943 to beg FDR to bomb the railroad tracks leading to concentration camps. He also openly criticized the Orthodox rabbis who were working tirelessly to raise the alarm about what was happening to Jews in concentration camps. Dr. Zohar Segev of Haifa University says Wise and his colleagues “worked actively to tone down any Jewish criticism of the Roosevelt administration.” They “used their influence to restrain, limit, and control any efforts towards greater activism.” They wanted to maintain the liberal status quo. Thus he worked actively against saving Jews during WWII, being afraid of arousing antisemitism.

This is why, a couple of generations later, we have the majority of Jews being libtard dummocraps.

I am Jewish. I have studied the political behavior of American Jews for most of my life, because I have been utterly perplexed (and pissed off) that people with whom I share so much in common can be so completely in bed with the Left. I still cannot explain the utter irrationality of Jews backing and defending those who would destroy our people. The only thing to which I can ascribe this self-destructive and suicidal behavior is that while these people are genetically Jewish (i.e. they are descended from Jews), on the spiritually and religious planes they are anything but. They have, because of their acts and the teachings of their parents and grandparents, redirected their religious fervor away from the religion of their ancestors and toward the collectivist religion of Leftism. As evidence of this, anyone familiar with the Jewish community in this nation could tell you in a heartbeat that the less Orthodox one is, the more of a Leftist one is. This they do from ignorance of their own history and religion, guilt for surviving or prospering (neither of which I have ever understood) and just plain hatred for people that don’t think just like they do. They are so closed-minded that they are unwilling to have a discussion in which their views are challenged and, as a result, go around with blinders on as to the truth.

It disgusts me to no end how people who have the reputation of being so smart can be so incredibly, gobsmackingly, stupid as to not just tolerate but actively support ideologies that ruined or ended the lives of their relatives over the past century. I speak specifically about Soviet Communism and German Nazism. These ideologies are 2 sides of the same coin, as evidenced by the fact that so many “former” Nazis readily and easily assimilated into the intelligence and security apparatus of East Germany. Not only was it OK with THEM, but it was OK with the East German government and the Soviets (else it would never have been permitted, and these people would have been summarily shot - the Soviets never shrank from that task, ever).

I am GLAD that President Trump has ripped the scab off of this behavior by my co-religionists.

The 6-Day War was in 1967, when Israel defeated an Arab World united to destroy Israel.

In 1973, an arrogant Israel allowed itself to be attacked simultaneously by Egypt and Syria, and nearly got destroyed as a result (and lost 3,000 soldiers in 3 weeks in the bargain, the per capita equivalent of 3 Vietnams in 3 weeks for the US). Yes, Israel prevailed and did so in a very bold and innovative way (especially Sharon’s attack across the Suez Canal into Egypt, culminating in surrounding the Egyptian Third Army).

I didn’t. I only wanted to point out the apparent confusion between the 1967 and 1973 wars.

It’s been said, and probably accurately, that those liberals who are Jewish by maternal blood derivation don’t really consider themselves Jewish. But it won’t matter when the beneficiaries of their votes acquire sufficient power, including the power to decide who is and who isn’t Jewish. As for those American Jews who practice a form of reform Judaism and vote for their democrat enemies, well...there’s a special place on the trains for them, too.
