yup...remember, after the recount of the vote failed the libs in 2016 their next plan of action was to get “electoral voters of conscience” NOT to cast a vote for Donald Trump...want to hasten the arrival of a second civil war?? here’s how you will do it...

Yes - there is! It’s the whole point of the winner take all electoral system.

The presidency is ultimately decided by “the states”. It’s not a direct democracy.

Your vote determines how the state votes and the state sends its political representatives (usually nominated by the winners) to cast the votes but those representatives can still choose to vote their conscience. They almost always won’t because they’re first and foremost political operatives.

This is a GOOD ruling and smashes the Dems attempt to enact a direct democracy by fiat.

You're correct, because you don't vote for the President, the state does via representatives to the Electoral College.

You express your desire for which slate of electors is sent to the Electoral College. Those people, as your representatives, have the same freedom as Congressmen to make their own decisions once there.
