First note that Greenland is really Iceland and Iceland is really more green. It is said the Vikings switched the names to mislead others exploring lands on the periphery of the Artic.
Note from history that Greenland, an inhabitable wasteland except for research stations and military bases, was claimed by both the United States and Denmark and the UN assuaged a slab of UN gobbledegook by making it seem as if Denmark had this or that and well who cares?

There are several other mining sites and more in planning along with a possible military presence.
China also tried to buy a former US military base at Gronnedal in Greenland but was blocked by Copenhagen because it might offend someone or something but well ... maybe later if the price is right. The US still operates a military base at Thule in Northern Greenland.
China is also developing Greenland's nascent Artic tourism industry. In next door Iceland at Keflavik, Chinese visitors of the state sponsored CHINESE variety jumped from 9500 in 2007 to 86000 in 2017.

This whole thing goes back a year or two when Denmark sent a guy to get some help from the Chinese for some airports. This isn’t about the President wanting the land for a hotel/casino. It’s a strategic national security issue. Shame that no one in the media seems to care about such trivial things. And to think that an alleged NATO ally would go to the ChiComs for help when the US already has a stake on the island.

The Chinese, through one of their debt traps now control the Sri Lankan shipping port in Columbo.
They have pretty much enslaved a sizeable chunk of Africa and are raping the continent. Now some of the countries leaders are starting to see the devil in the details. They go their money stashed but they aren’t seeing the benefits to their people, as the Chinese don’t hire local. They bring in their own chinese slaves and shut everyone else out, while the pillage and plunder.
The President, once again, is way ahead of folks, but then again if the MSM and the Left told the truth, things would be much different.
