The primary matchup between Senator Edward J. Markey and Representative Joseph P. Kennedy III is still hypothetical, but its already getting messy.
An apparent social media blunder by Markeys top campaign hand has angered Kennedy, his team, and supporters just as the 38-year-old Newton Democrat is weighing a challenge to the 73-year-old Markey.
The controversy started late Monday night when a senior adviser to Markeys campaign retweeted a nasty post: @EdMarkey, co-author of the green new deal, is a great Senator. @joekennedy should focus on his familys considerable mental health issues.
Drama on Twitter ensued: A Kennedy supporter called out the top campaign aide, Paul Tencher, for his retweet, and said Markey should apologize, tagging numerous reporters. Tencher quickly apologized: I absolutely take it back. It was a mistake and I never would have said something like this. My apologies. That tweet was despicable and abhorrent.

Mental issues? Patrick Kennedy's addictions, Rosemary's lobotomy, and so much more...
>>already getting messy
Sloppy Joe’s SOTU response
>>senior adviser
Speaking of Senior, Markey is only (almost) twice the age of Kennedy
>>co-author of the green new deal, is a great Senator
He should be proud of that monstrosity? GREAT Senator??
A young woman in the Kennedy clan recently committed suicide, so that comment is particularly insensitive now.
Yikes, great point there!
“I absolutely take it back. It was a mistake and I never would have said something like this. My apologies”
LOL. You just said it dipwad.
Rosemary..
>>During her birth, the obstetrician who was supposed to be delivering her was running late. Not wanting to deliver the baby without a doctor present, the nurse reached up into Roses birth canal and held the baby in place.
The actions of the nurse would have lasting consequences for Rosemary Kennedy. The lack of oxygen delivered to her brain during her birth caused lasting damage to her brain, resulting in a mental deficiency.
Though she looked like the rest of the Kennedys, with bright eyes and dark hair, her parents knew she was different right away.
As a child, Rosemary was unable to keep up with her siblings, who would often play ball in the yard, or run around the neighborhood. Her lack of inclusion often caused fits, which were later discovered to be seizures or episodes relating to her mental illness.
In 1941, when she was 23 years old, Rosemary Kennedy received a lobotomy. Two holes were drilled in her skull, through which small metal spatulas were inserted. The spatulas were used to sever the link between the pre-frontal cortex and the rest of the brain. Though it is not known whether he did so on Rosemary, Dr. Freeman would often insert an icepick through the patients eye to sever the link as well as the spatula.
Throughout the entire procedure, Rosemary was awake, speaking with doctors and reciting poems to nurses. They knew the procedure was over when she stopped speaking.
Immediately after the procedure, the Kennedys realized that something was wrong.

So, in your world view, sensitivity Trumps truth.
Hide the suicide because someone’s feelings might be hurt
Great liberal view to advnce America
But was it the truth or the fact?

Mr Frostys CAMPAIGN decided to make FUN of Kennedy mental health 2 WEEKS after his cousins death! Id say JoeJoeJoe isnt THINKING about running anymore-he plans to steamroll that jackass out of DC-hope someone gives Markey a MAP of Massachusetts so he doesnt get lost, AGAIN
Mr Frosty—he used to run an ice cream stand many moons ago
>>a MAP of Massachusetts
He’s also known as D-Chevy Chase because he also has a home in MD and probably is down in the Beltway most of the time
Its ironic. Throughout his political career Markey slavishly patterned himself politically and even his haircut to mimic the Kennedy political dynasty. He is not terribly bright and thought to be a bit off by observers. New England appears hopeless. Massachusetts elects deviants like the Kennedy family, phonies like Warren, Connecticut elected Blumenthal even though he admitted to stealing valor and faking a war record, Vermont elected a bizarre certified communist Sanders and Rhode Island has the sociopath Sheldon. The region is hopeless.
I never thought I would say this about a Kennedy, but Kennedy would be an improvement over Ed Markey. Markey was one of those arrogant, idiot leftist kids vomited up in 1974, the post-Watergate Democrat landslide. He has spent his entire adult life in Congress. He has learned nothing and contributed nothing. At this point, as a lifetime pol in a one party state, his sense of entitlement is overpowering. He has been a walking advertisement for term limits for decades, but Massachusetts voters seem to like being governed by an entrenched aristocracy of mediocrity.
The Kennedys should disappear but Democrats have this need to worship people like Obama ho succeeded in keeping his pants on. They want royalty because they are the unwashed.
39, er, 43 years of voting “present”

>>Markey, who has been in Congress since the Gerald Ford administration, was at a subcommittee hearing on Capitol Hill being chaired by Sen. Ted Cruz... Markey read a few pro-warmist talking points written by his staff, then stood up to leave the room. But Dr. Curry was incensed by his attack on her.
>>Have you read my testimony? she asked the former ice-cream truck driver once known in his hometown of Malden as Mr. Frosty. Have you read my testimony?
The blood drained from Markeys face. Have you read my testimony? Point of order, Mr. Chairman. No trick questions allowed!...
Markey started sputtering 97 percent of scientists warmest year ever trend is straight up.
Spot on! Look at the elected officials of a region and it is a snapshot of their intellect, maturity and culture. This goes for just about any state.
Mental health is a bad word for the rats because they all suffer from it! The truth police are out in force to protect their propaganda
Politico Mass. newsletter:
“Tencher apologized and said he shared the tweet in error, but a source close to Kennedy told reporters yesterday that the congressman is ‘livid’.”
(I’ll be his face is now as red as his hair!!!)
The despicable is the Kennedy family itself.
Nothing good has come from that bottom dwelling slime.
And nothing ever will.
I love it. Uber-marxist Massachusetts jerks going after each other.
