Folks we barely escaped a national disaster in 2016. Big Tech manipulated and altered and skewered search results so that millions more votes went to Hillary. Yet she still lost. While we may take comfort that idiots and morons like Biden and Beto et al are running in 2020, we must not become complacent. We must take action now against Google, Facebook, Twitter and all the other socialist media platforms out there who will use every scummy method available to defeat President Trump. To defeat America.

This needs a LOT more attention than it is getting.
People need to read this article and fight through understanding it even if they start to go numb over the technical issues. These concepts affect nearly every living breathing person’s mind in the developed world as we ALL use search engines on a daily basis. Young, old, men, women, phones, tables, PCs... constantly.
It is now critical that society as a whole learn and UNDERSTAND what it means when results of a search are provided. Understanding that bias must be ASSUMED every time you see provided information, news, and search results.
Searches and targeted news do not provide a random neutral view into the world. No such thing. It is nothing short of terrifying to think that most of the population assumes that results near top of lists “must be” organic representations of what the population as a whole believes. That is beyond a dangerous lack of understanding of how these systems work.
How many family and friends do we all have who never give a single thought to how or why certain things end up on the top of a search list?
