Kelly is Gabby Giffords husband. When an incumbent polls under 50% that is bad news. I was scratching my head why McSally was even appointed to the seat. She lost badly to a Mooonbat even if the Moonbat is hot. Why would anybody think she do any better the next time around.

This is only IMHO.
I think he appointed McSally (he couldn’t have found a poorer campaigner if he tried) because he thinks she will LOSE the 2020 Special Election to whatever candidate the DemocRATS run. Dicey would himself then run in the 2022 election that will fill that seat for a full 6-year term. I can think of no other reason for him to appoint McSally.

Kelly should stay with NASA if AZ doesn't want to become another Austin, TX. McSally doesn't have the baggage Kelly has as a Progressive.
Thanks to our Universities the liberal message has brain washed some really good people who no longer recognize American history or know anything about Arizona history. Progressives are communist light....

Vote fraud will make this so easy. Then you get the media to tell everyone that the politics have changed in favor of democrats. And you come out with rigged polls. That way when the democrats win then people won’t question if the election was rigged.
