LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) There is a new effort to help ease the homeless crisis in Southern California.
Congresswoman Maxine Waters hosted a hearing in Exposition Park Wednesday to take a closer look at homelessness in Los Angeles and try to find a solution.
Democratic members of Congress heard testimony about the homeless crisis and explored the question, What can the federal government do to help?
The federal government has been missing in action, said Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.

That won’t solve the problem. Taking money from those foolish enough to have a “job” and giving it to professional baby makers, will make the problem worse. The employed will not work as hard and the fertile street thugs will have more babies.
Liberal “solutions” always fail, and liberals always demand a strengthening of the laws that failed, leading to another failure, which prompts them to demand a strengthening ... (repeat until doomsday).
In this universe, if you don’t work - you don’t eat!
All attempts to circumvent lead to misery.
In other words, Trump and Alabama deplorable’s fault.
Why would we fix democrat sht and make them look good like a whore on welfare trying to appropriate admiration from her kids for managing to leech off of taxpayers?
This is insane. Where is the representation of the tax payer in this? There is none.
THem beautiful projects sponsoring gangs and terrorism... and then they get exported out to good state but California will blame the guns from Arizona... while Arizona is forced to get guns because of their sht overflowing there.
How is this crap even constitutional. Where is the representation of the people when we are subsidizing democrat local crap?
OR is it “just a tax” according to PRetty boy woman Judge Julio Roberts?

There are no kids in the homeless camps. They’d be taken away. Able bodied adults at leisure-the idle poor.
Thats where you went wrong. More money to fight homelessness INCREASES HOMELESSNESS. As Rush is fond of saying, If you subsidize something, you get more of it.
That simple solution works and was used for decades until liberals grabbed power in the 60s. Today anybody attempting those common sense fixes would be thrown in jail himself.
Easy solution.
Free hit of drugs per 5 rats caught or per 10 lb bag of feces.
Use their drug habit for something useful.
To hell with California and all the Illegal people.....no $$ at all.
Drugs and mental illness account for 95% of the problem. Remove the vagrants to private treatment camps, funded by government. Pay bonuses based on successful results. Fully staffed by tough love Christian professionals. Lather, rinse, repeat.
They should. T^he people that are working or on pensions need to pay more taxes. Hell, some of them have as much as two dollars left after deductions from their checks when they get them. And last but not least, 99 cents out of every tax dollar ends up in the pockets or bank of a Democrat. That is why the Democrats prefer the sheep to be dumb versus intelligent. The sheep? Hell, the sheep enjoy being dumb. They happily follow the judas goat from the stock trailer straight into the slaughter house. Every time
I’ve seen some nice residential areas of cities destroyed by Section 8 housing.
It is not a great term for Military people. It means “Unfit for Military service”.
Possibly why it is named Section 8 for housing.
Sanctuary cities and states get nothing.
Let’s see, 60,00 Homeless junkies living on the Street crapping everywhere just in Los Angeles.
1.2 MILLION Foreign Nationals with NO Legal Right to be here, ALL Collecting some sort of Government Welfare. Just in Los Angeles
Anyone that give these crooks in California Government a nickel should be Deported to Venezuela.
That’s LA’s problem not ours.
California voters keep voting democrat let them live with what they caused.
Expand Section 8 Housing in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Santa Monica and Holmby Hills to start.
