In a textbook case of burying the lede, the Detroit News on Saturday reported that Representative Rashida Tlaib was “surrounded… Friday evening during Shabbat” by Jewish supporters “in the wake of her refusal to visit Israel under restrictions imposed by that country's government.” It took 14 paragraphs for the News to mention that Tlaib’s supporters, JVP Action (Jewish Voice for Peace), “openly supports BDS, which is fairly marginal in the Jewish institutional world, and is widely seen as anti-Israel in that world.” In other words, BDS supporters show their support for another BDS supporter. Nothing to see here.
Nor is it just the “Jewish institutional world,” whatever that is, that sees JVP Action as anti-Israel. Anyone who visits their website can see that for themselves. Their webpage calls the founding of the State of Israel by the Arabic propaganda term, “Nakba,” (“the catastrophe”), with its “false implication of hapless victimhood” of Palestinians forced to flee as a result of the Arabs’ 1948 “war of extermination” against Israel. JVP Action believes Israel exists on “stolen land.”
This echoes Tlaib’s views exactly. Before Israel put the kibosh on their Let’s Make Mischief Tour, both she and Ilhan Omar were referring to their destination as “Palestine.” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu noted their itinerary “did not request to meet any Israeli officials, either from the government or the opposition.” Also, the trip was sponsored by the terrorist-supporting group Mifta, who have spread the Jewish blood libel and published anti-Semitic Nazi propaganda. It was obvious to Netanyahu that “the sole purpose of their visit is to harm Israel and increase incitement against it.”

I think AOC, Talib only spew thoughts, memes, created by others for them.
For once I’d like to see them with no teleprompter, prepared notes , earpieces.

This is an MSM created controversy that could be squelched/ended by telling the full story...

The Jewish Federations of North America said in a statement that “every member of Congress, without exception, should be allowed to visit Israel, irrespective of whether we agree with their point of view.”
The Simon Wiesenthal Center‘s associate dean and director of global social action slammed Tlaib and Omar., calling them ” unapologetic anti-Semites.” But Rabbi Abraham Cooper also added in a statement that “the first instinct of Israeli officials to let them into the country was [the] right one.”
The American Jewish Committee‘s CEO, David Harris, wrote on Twitter that “Israel faced a tough choice,” but that it “should’ve taken the high road & let these Members of Congress in, no matter how vile their views.”
The Anti-Defamation League likewise said that “while we absolutely disagree with the pro-BDS positions of Reps. [Omar and Tlaib], keeping them out is counterproductive.”
The executive director of the Jewish Democratic Council of America, Halie Soifer, said in a statement that banning lawmakers ” is counterproductive and plays into President Trump’s goal of politicizing support for Israel.”
Israel Policy Forum said the ban “can only serve to harden [Tlaib and Omar’s] current views, along with delivering an insult to the U.S. Congress.”
Make no mistake...she has the support of the majority
THOUGH I WOULD LIKE TO CLARIFY by saying that they DON’T support her views, just her right to go.
Which I think is a mistaken view.
So basically Jews that don’t reside in Israel are telling those who do who they should allow in their country.

More and more I’m noticing “Catholic” organizations with no Catholics in them, and “Jewish” organizations with no Jews in them.
While I would suggest setting up fake “socialist” organizations to do dumb and repulsive things, sadly that would be redundant.
