Prez Trump’s election surely shined light, on what otherwise would have remained dark if HRC was elected.

I’m convinced Trump won because there are tens of millions of people like me ... who voted for him because he was a political outsider whose election would piss off our professional political class to no end. Michael Moore had it right when he predicted this exact turn of events.

I consider Democrats to be lower than whale sh!t. Career politicians among REPUBLICANS are only one tiny degree better — mainly because they tend to be such hapless losers that do a lot less harm.

I think the author is being a bit premature. He’s right about the depth of stench in the Deep State, but I think most Americans still don’t know the extent of it. It has not gotten the media attention it should, and probably won’t until and less those who were formerly in power are held accountable.

I’m hopeful it will happen, but not holding my breath.

everyone has seen the corruption,
for a long long long time.

the President demonstrated --at risk to himself--
that the extent is incredible and the deeds unspeakable.

The greatest result of the 2016 election was the exposure of corruption so vast and so profound within and across the highest levels of our government that the American people (or those who are thinking anyway) had their breath taken away.

"The exposure of the Clinton Campaign/Fusion GPS/John Brennan/James Comey/DOJ/FBI/State Department cabal to undermine the will of the American people in the 2016 election exposed the vast corruption at the highest levels of our kleptocratic establishmentarian government."

It's been exposed and proven to the satisfaction (and horror) of people like us.

But it's still largely suppressed in the 'big' media and all the smaller outlets that may not be directly under their control, but influenced by it.

I live in the Detroit area -- not exactly small town America. There are two supposedly-major newspapers, one with a (somewhat) conservative tilt, and one with a mainstream liberal leaning. They both breathlessly report every utterance negative to President Trump, but virtually nothing about the nuts-and-bolts of the attempted takedown of his presidency, other than, perhaps, "We got him this time, for sure!"

Journalism is mostly dead.

That would change if our “justice” department actually did their job and started arresting people for attempting to overthrow our President.

And, yeah, I mean “lock her up.”

Let’s see the media ignore THAT.

“...piss off our professional political class to no end...”

One of the main reasons I voted for Donald Trump

“Journalism is mostly dead.”

It is on the broadcast networks and at least two of the 3 cable news networks.

I’m familiar with both of the Detroit newspapers. My sense is the Detroit News is not as “conservative” as it used to be...maybe they have an occasional expression of a conservative opinion on their editorial page, I’m not sure. The only part of it I read regularly are their Detroit Tigers articles (bad news almost every day).

If I’m not mistaken both the News and the Free Press are currently Gannett properties. If that’s right, their “news” coverage will be necessarily liberal.

They wouldn't ignore it, but I shudder to think of the spin, which would be an all-out attack on Trump & the DOJ, decrying the use of '3rd world dictator' tactics in imprisoning 'political opponents'.

Never mind the laws the b***h repeatedly violated...

That's pretty much the way I see it, too. I look at the online version of the News occasionally, mostly during football season, to see how many games into the season they start saying 'Wait 'til next year!'

Thanks for your concise post. How do we clean up this mess? Our country doesn’t have “a vote of no confidence” and the ability to throw out the congress & call for a new election. Would martial law clean out the swamp? Am I being too reactionary?

BTY I resent being called a bigot.

At a certain point (and we might be past that) it doesn’t matter anymore.

They ALREADY attack him any way they can, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I suspect we’re close to the point where the only people watching - and believing the mainstream media are leftists who just need their daily dose of Trump hatred.

Similarly, Rush and Hannity are also only speaking to audiences who already agree with them.

And that whole phony, Russia-Trump “collusion” counterintelligence investigation launched against Donald Trump and his campaign? At best, it would have continued along quietly and then, just as quietly, fizzled out...

This discounts how vindictive Hillary is. More likely the Hoax would have been cranked up and Trump would be sitting in prison for Treason, tax fraud and who knows what else.

If he loses 2020 I expect the Dems will do everything in their power to bankrupt and/or imprison him.

The Joint Operating Agreement (JOA), between the two newspapers began in 1989. It quickly became the 'Joint Opinion Agreement' with the Detroit News adopting the same low class/low IQ style of writing that the leftist Detroit Free Press was famous for.

Haven't bought either of them for at least 20 years. I don't think they're published 7 days a week anymore.

All Americans should take some comfort from the revelations of the scheme by top officials across the Obama administration to subvert the 2016 election. It has a very important silver lining. Donald Trump’s improbable election turned a klieg light on the termite-infested foundation of our Republic.

Yes, but unless some of them start going to prison they are going to try again, and next time will be even more audacious.

I do not expect anyone will. I believe Art of the Deal is going on behind the scenes. Trump is cutting deals to get support for parts of his agenda in exchange for letting them off the hook. Big mistake IMHO.

Just MHO but at this point Martial Law is going to be about the only way to deal with the traitors. The DOJ is unable to bring itself to actually do anything. Frankly, with so many senior officers in the military being 0bama appointees it is doubtful even that would work which is a shame in a way because that is the only way to preserve the country once known as The United States of America. I’m fairly certain there will be a great country arise here once the smoke has cleared as well but there is some rough sledding ahead.

The DNC Media nexus/State - CNN, and CIA - NYT nexus needs to DOXXED on the front page listing all the paid writers and TV”consulants/contractors.
