in addition red light cameras have been deliberately placed at improper angles by municipalities to fine people who are stopped at a correct distance or are more than halfway across the intersection.
these are largely revenue enhancers and many cities large and small have abused them.
I have been driving for 50 years and was NEVER EVER nailed by a red light camera. And I have driven in large cities all over with camera’s. I am just a cautious and defensive driver.
Guess what ... after 50 years and a few million miles of driving, I have ZERO accidents! I made State Farm richer!
