Believe it or not - most divorced people I’m acquainted with have had marriages dissolve without mudslinging and acrimony in public. They just decided that staying together was more stressful than being apart. Then again, the people I know are mostly, for lack of a better word - nice.

I don’t know of many divorces.

Italians out here still tend to believe you stay married once you get married.
