If Obama actually said this it was for the sole reason to protect Obama’s legacy. Now everything that involved Biden, including the Obama years is fair game to be shredded by the other candidates. Between Trump undoing much of what Obama put in place and his own party shredding it, he will end up with just being a void in history.
