Ideology, the Schools, and Murder: The McInerney/King Case
American Thinker.com ^ | August 16, 2019 | Noel Anenberg

On the morning of February 12, 2008, Brandon McInerney, 14, a good student and athlete at E.O. Green Junior High School in Oxnard, California, left for school with his mother’s .22 cal. pistol in his backpack. Brandon entered Computer Lab, took a seat directly behind 15-year-old Larry King, a transgender boy who suffered from ADHD and a reactive detachment disorder. Larry, AKA Latisha, was unable to form close relationships with the serial foster parents appointed to care for him. At approximately 8:15 that morning, Brandon shot Larry in the back of the head. Larry died two days later.

Mass media outlets and social media cast Larry (Latisha) King as a martyr of the Gay Rights movement and Brandon as a hate-filled Neo-Nazi. Larry was buried. Brandon pleaded guilty to 2nd -degree murder and received a twenty-one-year prison sentence. It was, it seemed, an open and shut case. Good vs Evil. Neo-Nazi killed innocent gay kid. But, the facts of this tragedy -- that befell both boys -- reveal quite a different story.

Larry King’s father had abandoned King, his brother, Rocky, and their drug-addicted mother who was declared unfit to keep them by the courts. Both boys spent their formative years being passed from one foster home to the next. Larry was later adopted but when child services charged his adoptive father of abusing Larry, Larry was placed in a group home. Larry/Latisha wore high heels, lipstick, and feminine clothing to class at E.O. Green. A state of California anti-discrimination law prohibited A.O. Green’s administration from reining in King’s distracting behavior.

WHY THE #### should Trump pardon him??

Even kicking the #### out of the tranny that kept embarrassing him would have stopped a lot of the nonsense he was subject to.

I’m not saying whether that would have been right or wrong, but it’s a LOT better than killing the tranny.

ESPECIALLY on a board where NO ALLOWANCE is given black teen killers when their mom is a crack addict and “dad”, well who knows WHO dad is?

This is the LAST guy Trump should pardon.

In fact, it’s scary that someone out there thinks he should be pardoned.

And for those of you who will read words I didn’t type, no, I don’t think much allowance should be given to a person’s home life as in the end it is they alone who decide to kill or not.

That’s a shame. I suppose there is a real possibility of an American “Bastille Day” in the future so he won’t have to finish his sentence. The school administration that failed him should be the ones in prison.

He was a 15 year old who had a tranny harassing him on a daily basis and had repeatedly tried to get the authorities to stop it but because the lesbian he had to depend on would not do anything. Read the article.

The Dayton shooter’s first victim was his transgender sister of whom he just learned about her condition. I believe that was the trigger for the shooting spree.

When society fails you, including your family, you do what you have to do. As a 14 yo homosexually harassed boy, he did what such a boy would do. He will do his time and move on....trained anew by fellow prison inmates, not all straight. He will become the person society left him and trained him via oncarceration to become...in the future.

Prayers for him.

But like I said, we don’t make such posts about bloods/crips who grew up in sometimes MUCH worse scenarios.

And no kidding, I don’t lose sleep over them doing time either.

But this kid pulled the trigger when MANY OF US with VERY HARD childhoods did not.

#### him.

Public schools are a nightmare, butclearly a microcosm of the state of our culture.

You seem to be the one losing it because someone expressed an opinion you don’t like.

"The school administration that failed him should be the ones in prison."

In my opinion, yes, the school officials definitely failed this boy. Politicians and activists have made a huge deal out of bullying, but when it is brought to their attention, sometimes school officials fail miserably.

I read an article some time back about how teachers handle bullies. And generally, so I don't get flamed, females teachers let bullies get away with being bullies. They don't know how to handle outright defiance, and they are simply intimidated. So, bullies get away with their actions despite all the warnings and training officials get.

What's done is done. It's too bad that the kid didn't take notes of who he complained to, and what he was told. Once he finally decided enough was enough, and he knew he would be expelled he should have waited until the bully was seated. Then launch a sneak attack and get MMA medieval on him. Broken nose, boxed ears, split lips, loose teeth. Even then he might have been sentenced to a juvenile facility, but it wouldn't have been for murder.

The young man killed the he/her. It was cold blooded premeditated murder. The tale does say something very dark about public skruls and our increasingly disturbed and dysfunctional society.
