Five people were shot Thursday afternoon in the Ogontz section of North Philadelphia, just 24 hours after six police officers were shot in a gun battle that terrorized the Tioga neighborhood — on the very same street, just over 2 miles away.
None of the injuries on Thursday appeared life-threatening, police said.

Mass murder/mass killing....people dead not necessarily by gun but frequently by gun. The media plays games with these terms in order the gaslight the population.
