Suppose some really big money trouble makers decided to buy 10 yr Treasuries n a really big...HUGE way? That would push the bond price up and the yield down, down enough to be below the 2 yr yield especially if the mega money guys simultaneously sold the two yr bond thereby pushing the price down and the yield up.
The problem with this whole inversion thing prediction is it works about 80% of the time but it takes about 22 months for the recession to kick in. In the meantime the S&P usually advances another 12% on average.
Finally just what is causing the traders to buy/sell the bonds in a way which signals a looming recession? Things are humming along as good as they have ever been with full employment, raising wages and almost no inflation.
Personally I think it’s bullsh*t and the shorts have taken control for now. This will change.
Economies have their ups and downs. Right now it’s up. Probably will stay up awhile as pdjt is trying to make structural and trading corrections to enable this. But if there’s one thing soroznazi and his DNC types want it’s a big recession beginning ASAP for the 2020 election — and they’ve got a lot of power to influence the economy

Foreign investors are being crushed by NEGATIVE interest rates, meaning that YOU pay the Bank to hold your money. So, foreign investors are buying US Bonds. The more demand there is for Bonds the LOWER the interest rate goes. That is why we have an ‘inverted yield curve’ which has been a traditional harbinger of a coming recession. Trump needs to get out in front of this and explain what the heck is going on.

I switched to FBN with Maria. Dagen McDowell is hosting while Maria is on vacation. McDowell was nearly orgasmic talking about the inverted curve and how this is the beginning of the big recession.
A local money manager has a radio program. He’s centrist as far as I can tell. His analysis is that the market is strong, the fundamentals are good, and when it drops, buy.
I think this is a misreading of this "signal."
I see an inverted yield curve with an all-time low rate on 30-year U.S. Treasury bonds as an indicator of faith in the U.S. dollar.
we went through this a few months back. it’s quite likely that the buying of bonds is coming from foreign money as several international banks lowered rates last week, sending money to seek higher yields elsewhere. too soon to say. since they are stimulating their economies w/lower rates, one might suppose that would moderate the slowing being felt in Europe.
I see it as economic terrorism; Soros and other like-minded multibillionairs continuing to push for world conquest, the demonically-inspired Democrats and like-minded entities attacking ICE because of President Trump’s new Green Card regulations, China finally getting called to the mat because of its horiffic abuse and torture of its people, Christians and non-Christians alike, and the list goes on.
