Crustacean-level intellect. Why do boys pick up guns and kill people with them? This is why. Normal dads go target shooting with their boys, and some girls. Normal dads balance art and sports with their boys. Normal dads tell kids they have what it takes, not let them watch MTV and grow up confused.
