The Republican Party has long been panned by its detractors as the party of big money and big donors -- but donation patterns have changed measurably under President Trump, a Fox News analysis of campaign finance data shows.
Sixty-one percent of money raised directly by the Trump campaign this election cycle came from small donors (donations under $200), according to Federal Election Commission figures.
That is similar to the proportion Trump raised during the 2016 election cycle, when 65 percent of donations were under $200. And this is dramatically higher than previous Republican nominees. Mitt Romney raised 26 percent of his direct contributions from small donations in 2012, and John McCain raised 25 percent from small donations in 2008.

The silent Trump voters speaks after all.
There’s a WHOLE country to donate to the POTUS.
My donations go to a cousin’s illness charity and FR.
But I will volunteer for Trump when the time comes
I HATE making phone calls.
Rather eat vegetables.
Bush League Republicans were always working against US, why donate to them?
“Rather eat vegetables.”
Really? I LOVE veggies, especially spinach. When I was a kid in the 50’s my favorite meal was a box of Birdseye frozen Spinach with butter and a pile of mashed potatoes.
I think I got the Spinach thing from watching Popeye cartoons.
Send the money directly to Trump and bypass the RNC. Just make sure you TELL the RNC you did it so they get the message.
amazing what happens if you represent the will of the people
Yes...and the republican party who still thinks if you donated to Trump that means you want to donate to them still don’t get it!
President Trump is the most successful Republican in my lifetime. And at the same time you see the genius Anthony Scaramucci saying we should dump Trump. I hereby nominate Mooch as the GOP’s own “Fredo”. Fredo Scaramucci sounds about right.
And that’s why when I am dying of cancer 9 years from now at 60, you will still be going strong :)
I’ve been getting Trump campaign requests for donations for months already. Some are obviously from the RNC, but there are also many with Trump/Pence or generic Trump, requests. I have avoided contributing thus far as it is difficult at best to determine the real Donald Trump Campaign. Have yet to actively research the issue as there is time, but if anyone has definitive proof where the Real Donald Trump Campaign resides I for one would appreciate hearing about it.
Ya gotta wonder about some of the food combinations that people like ... I like green peas mixed with mashed potatoes. Another unusual thing I like is ketchup on rice ... got that from a cousin who spent time in the Philippines although I can’t say if that is done there or just was something he liked.
www.donaldjtrump.com....the real thing!!! Tens of thousands of “regular” rank and file Americans of all political stripes, are donating: $1.00, $5.00, $10.00, $15.00, $20.00, $25.00, $50.00 per month to the Trump campaign funds. Trump will raise between one & two billion dollars for his 2020 POTUS re-election campaign..period!!! Democrat Party is not even close!!! Me...$25.00 per month until election day in November, 2020!!! Give what you can afford!!! Do it fellow Americans!!! Keep American Freedom, Liberty & Opportunity alive & well and destroy the entire Socialist, Communist, Democrat Party, politically!!! Go, TRUMPIE!!!
We need conservative volunteers to work in polling stations and demand audits of random voting machines. I dont know how we will ever get any voting rolls to have a lick of integrity to them though. Dhimmicrats fight any election integrity laws with every thing they have
My second favorite is mashed with green peas AND shredded cheddar cheese mixed in. Mashed needs to be hot so the cheddar melts...yum.
And my monthly small donation is in that 65% bucket.
How nice...the GOPe should know that we are not supporting AntiAmerican Republicans, which is 90% of them. Donate to Trump Supporting Candidates, not to the RinoNC.
I have the same problem! So afraid of donating to a fake Trump organization.
This used to happen during the Reagan years. In the 1980s, the RNC had a smaller average donation than the DNC, but had more money.
But the Bushies and the other country-clubbers don’t get it. I remember thirty or so years ago talking to the county GOP chairman and he was talking about the upcoming $500-a-plate dinner. I told him that was great, but he also needed to have a $25 cookout so ordinary people could donate too. He looked at me like I was from Mars.
Give until it hurts.
