A Republican member of Congress tweeted about an "illegal coup" against President Trump on Monday, responding to an account that has spread conspiracy theory content.
Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona said on Monday he has a "tip" about how FBI agents have "colluded" with British agents and Democratic operatives.
"I have a tip. I think high level FBI agents may have colluded with British agents and Democrat operatives to initiate an illegal coup against @realDonaldTrump and @POTUS. I mean at least this bears a cursory review. Perhaps. Maybe," the congressman tweeted from his verified account, tagging Trump's accounts.

Remember the “Two Towers” book or movie? There is this huge war going on and the Ents ( animated slow thinking apolitical trees that can pretty destroy anything ) are being lobbied by the good guys (hobbits) to fight the bad guys (orcs). they did. they set up a sting operation and floated leaks to the press to then justify the investigation based on “news reports” that they sourced.
An illegal coup as opposed to a legal coup?
Actually he is a true patriot and strict constitutionalist. He hasn't forgot who he represents like most and his doors and ears are always open. He considers his job is to represent not go make a bunch of more laws we don't need.
He is a blocker not a promoter and egotistical headline chaser. He didn't just figure it out, he has been up to speed all along but more than likely just got something new.
We live in one of the best demographics in the nation and he works hard to keep it that way, and he does not bend on principle. He doesn't have to make any special efforts at all to be reelected, he WILL be it's a given. We are lucky to have him as a representative and you are not.

A lot of it may well be British efforts to protect the British Royalty’s reputation for example, Prince Andrew who was up to his “neck” to put it delicately in Epstein’s honey trap machinations.

Fools are sometimes like toy jesters on sticks that God sometimes shakes and gives voice to... the Jester thinks he has made a funny and some might indeed laugh...but the serious minded listen, give a plea of warning, and then make preparations for coming disaster.
Your defense of Gosar is admirable and not without positive effect, but if he really tweeted that he was just being sarcastic then he was certainly having a brain fart even joking about such a thing as a presidential coup. He needs to delete these tweets and just shut up if he really doesn’t think there was a coup attempt.
He might have a poor sense of humor, but our district here is one of, if not THE most Conservative district in the US. He is fully aware of the attempted coup and has said so many times. And if he said he was being sarcastic, it was not because he doesn’t believe it, he was being sarcastic in another way with his post. How someone knee jerked to the opposite assumption I have no clue. They obviously do not know him as we do. He is like our local Trump and will not bend.
He apparently was retweeting a qanon posting but non followers of qanon also are of the same persuasion that a coup of the Trump presidency was being attempted.
