A Republican member of Congress tweeted about an "illegal coup" against President Trump on Monday, responding to an account that has spread conspiracy theory content.
Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona said on Monday he has a "tip" about how FBI agents have "colluded" with British agents and Democratic operatives.
"I have a tip. I think high level FBI agents may have colluded with British agents and Democrat operatives to initiate an illegal coup against @realDonaldTrump and @POTUS. I mean at least this bears a cursory review. Perhaps. Maybe," the congressman tweeted from his verified account, tagging Trump's accounts.

Clearly, they didn't just break a few laws, they committed treason, a capitol offense! Every damned one of the Americans involved in this attempted coup needs to be made an example. Bare minimum of 20 years in prison with no chance of parol before they spend the full 20.

everyone with half a brain knows what happened and half that know pretend they don’t know. i’ll put this writer in the latter group.
If this guy just figured out there was an illegal coup attempt, forget about public office, he is so disconnected, he shouldn’t be allowed to drive, or handle his own bank account. By the time he figures out a stop light has turned green, it would have cycled so many times, he would have run out of gas.
If he has known, and is just now paying lip service, just to win a few more votes, he is disingenuous, and he is unprincipled, not willing to defend the Constitution, and cannot be trusted as far as far as he could throw an elephant.
