State legislators and then-Gov. Jerry Brown should have known that they were lighting the fuse of a political time bomb three years ago when they ordered up a “model curriculum in ethnic studies” for high school students.
The bomb is now exploding.
The state Department of Education has released a 303-page draft of undecipherable educational jargon and left-wing rhetoric, advocating the indoctrination of teenagers into believing that everyone who isn’t white and male is an oppressed victim.

This is why I rarely use the textbooks in my English classes. They are heavily weighted with stories about someone's hurt feelings, and not particularly profound or well written. Just navel-gazing snippets chosen solely for the color of the author's skin and the reliable message that White America is mean, mean, mean. Let's hate it!

Sounds like more demands for reparations coming our way. I wonder why Chinese, also “people of color”, in the US have managed to avoid all this educational oppression and injustice.

Yep. The Bell Curve explains pretty much everything we see regarding the performance of the various racial groups, but people avoid that elephant in the room like the plague.

And it is crucially important that we are very clear as to who the “they” are and who the “we” are.
Sadly the “they” are mostly guilt ridden and/or opportunistic whites who end up waging war on all whites and especially conservatives. At the end of the day this will have to be mostly a white vs white fight.
