After 35 years of hauling water in kitty litter jugs to flush toilets, we are getting a whole house generator which runs on LP. We have our own tank anyway which fuels many of our appliances.

I go out of my way to avoid Amazon.

That’s the problem, the manager/s don’t care or can’t stock what we want. I’m sure they’re tired of the constant complaints over the past two decades. Most everything it seems is what other stores refuse to accept so it may be the head office has deemed us to be their dumping ground. When it’s this or Walmart in the entire county, well...

Prepping has been big in the U.K., too, and they've seen similar (and many of the same) television shows about the topic. There have been quite a few presentations done by English preppers in Youtube videos.

Hmmm... The multi-pack of the 2% version appeared to be orderable on WM’s website, but when I tried adding it to my cart, I got a message saying it just now went out of stock.

If Amazon is a no go for you, perhaps you can ask friends or relatives to look for it and ship it to you. Winter might be best, if the stuff is “freeze stable”?

That would add cost, of course...

Hubby had several strokes the first of the year (no lasting disabilities, thank God) and his plant closed. So our preps came in handy. Hard time are going to come, whether it’s a large scale event or not. Just smart to do.
