No. As I said, there are lots of scenarios that are plausible. Trump MAY get a wall some other way...maybe the House flips in 2020 and we get some spine. Or likely not, in which case we aren't getting anything unless we give.

The real-world question for many people may be: Is full border wall funding and construction with deportations of existing illegals "worth" banning the sale of 12 firearms for ten years? For me, it's not. But for the majority of people who ultimately decide an Electoral College vote for MAGA, it may be palatable.

Yes, I'd like a secure border AND full 2nd Amendment rights. I'd like Hillary to be tried for the server incident. I'd like abortion to be illegal. I'd like for GDP to grow 5%. I want the Flyers to win the cup. I want the Middle East to be a place of peace. I won't get all of that. So with what can I live?

The Democrats will wiggle out of their end of the deal, but demand full enforcement of our end. If there has been ANY lesson to be learned over the years, it is this: never trust a Democrat.
