Nobody’s talking about ‘signing off’ on Epstein being murdered. It’s a question of letting it happen if it happens (e.g. “trusting” that the security situation has not been compromised, rather than pro-actively assuming it has). Nothing immoral about it. By the way, the rules of military justice are different from the civilian justice system. Most people acknowledge the flaw in prosecuting terrorists in civilian court rather than military court. Since 9/11 we’ve spent the last 18 years talking about it. I’m sure POTUS knows that Epstein was acting as an operative of seditious and very possibly foreign actors. And I’m sure he has the proof. When you understand that Epstein was an enemy combatant, it would be shameful if POTUS viewed the situation in the same way you do.

Yes, that sounds like a likely scenario.
Uh, Mr. President this happened in a federal lock-up. It was the responsibility of YOUR justice department to keep Epstein alive through the trial, to ensure that his victims got a fair hearing. Now that will never happen.
