Convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein is dead, law enforcement sources said Saturday.
A gurney carrying a man who looked like Epstein was wheeled out of the Manhattan Correctional Center around 7:30 a.m. The ambulance went to New York Downtown Hospital.
The incident comes two weeks after Epstein, 66, was placed on suicide watch after he was found nearly unconscious in his cell with injuries to his neck.
The multimillionaire financier is being held without bail pending trial on child sex-trafficking charges. Thousands of documents unsealed Friday in connection with a defamation case against the perv’s alleged recruiter revealed dozens of high-profile names that a self-identified victim, Virginia Giuffre, said she was forced to perform sex acts with, from former Maine Sen. George Mitchell and ex-New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, money manager Glenn Dubin and MIT professor Marvin Minksy.
Epstein was busted July 6 over the alleged sexual abuse of dozens of young girls in his Upper East Side townhouse and his waterfront mansion in Palm, Beach, Florida, between 2002 and 2005.
He has pleaded not guilty and faces up to 45 years in prison if convicted.

My biggest frustration over this mess is the idea that “Direct Observation” of this inmate was necessary —. Standard procedures for Direct Observation exist primarily to PROTECT the integrity of the Justice System — not to protect the inmate from Self Harm (though it does accomplish that as well)
Epstein should have been in 24/7 direct observation —. Not for “suicide prevention” but because IF he was to successfully kill himself or is killed by ANY means the INTEGRITY of our entire Justice System suffers irreparable harm. Even IF a psychologist deems him to NOT be suicidal he should be on Direct Observation for “Adminstrative Reasons” — period
This death has dealt an irreparable blow to our criminal justice system period.

Based on what I am finding after Googling “Barr’s father, Dalton School, Epstein”, I believe Barr should be barred from any involvement in this investigation.

So it appears Donald Barr was present when Epstein was hired. I would be interested to know more about the disagreements with the executive board. It also appears the AG Barr who made much of his recusal from Epstein related matters during his Senate confirmation hearings, is now definitely involving himself in the current Epstein situation.

What people don’t understand is that Epstein ran a blackmail operation. He had info on tons of politicians and business leaders, including the Clintons, and they all knew it but partook anyway. Epstein wasn’t an independent operator. He was an operative working for powerful people, whether it was CIA, Mossad, MI6, or some combination of the three. Offing Epstein would have been off limits and would have lead to the perpetrators themselves either being exposed or killed. Once Epstein was arrested he became a liability to his handlers and was fair game.

Someone or many people have cognitive knowledge of this, hard data exists I’m sure..there are people who can and should (in a perfect world) come forth and make visible to us, the facts and full story of what went on both in Jeffery Epsteins life AND his death. though it may result in the incrimination certain high profile persons, this event has now become a national concern.
Now, the latest info is that Epstein was not be supervised because the guards had to do too much overtime. Also, his cell mate had been removed. Also, the warden and the psychologist probably approved lifting of the suicide watch. See the link below and read the comments.

Especially given the fact that the overtime and extra staff requirement would simply be included as part of his “court costs” easily justified Adminstrative cost regardless of whether he was an imminent threat of self harm. Why would a person paying high $ attorney fees be concerned about $25/hr overtime cost of a direct observation officer 24/7
