Bigger picture, is this going to become the standard? These are obviously not the "best and brightest" people coming from these countries and invading ours. They commit a crime the moment they step across the border or outstay their visa. They are criminals, period. But are we going to have to wait until they steal our car or break into our house before we deport them? Or will we have to wait until they start dealing meth to our kids? Or maybe we can't touch them until they actually kill someone?
Hey lib lurkers out there who support and coddle illegals - what is it going to take? What level of crime? Obviously merely breaking our immigration laws isn't enough to you. When you coddle and forgive criminal behavior you set a precedent and remove a deterrent. Eventually those chickens come home to roost - in a big way. On probation for a DUI only a year ago did not meet the terms of the probation kills a guy while driving without a license and gets charged with careless driving. What do you have to do in Colorado to get seriously in trouble?
