A New Jersey mayor referred to a plan to teach LGBTQ history in schools as 'an affront to almighty God' during a town council meeting.
Barnegat Township Mayor Alfonso Cirulli made the comments on Tuesday evening after stating he opposed a state law that requires public schools to teach students the contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people.
The 60-year-old former assistant principal referred to the law as 'unrighteous' and said it 'crossed over the line into absurdity', reported the Asbury Park Press.
During the meeting, Cirulli said the LGBTQ movement was an 'intent of trying to completely eradicate God's law'.
He added: 'The Bible tells us that they will try but not succeed, and pay the eternal price for their rebellion'.
Cirulli went on to say that politicians 'have no right to promote the LGBT agenda' but insisted that 'there is no hate or bigotry intended here'.
The mayor said he would oppose the law and encouraged his constituents to do the same, according to the newspaper.

What about the contributions of the Hmong people? And Tunisians? And the achievements of people from the Democratic Republic of Congo are seldom if ever mentioned. In the name of equality we need to quickly address these diversity deficiencies. Other groups to soon follow.
Seriously, I don’t care what adults choose to do. This is not about “equality” it is about dividing and assigning Americans into grievance groups for political purposes. And now you can see why African Americans feel their historic struggles are being co-opted. Gay or bi people can choose to come out or not. It’s not like skin color which cannot be hidden. Anyway if an individual accomplishes something worthy it may merit discussion. But it’s the achievement that matters, perhaps in the context of the struggles they has to overcome - but not their personal attributes. And looking for achievements based on arbitrary groupings serves to devalue those efforts which have truly revolutionized industry, art, music, culture, medicine and humanity. It is not how “science minded” people judge things. We judge the work, not the personality behind the work.
I’m sure there. Alexander McQueen and Yves St. Laurent revolutionized the Fashion world and industry and influenced art. Their sexual orientation or identity isn’t really the point of their work though, is it? It is their achievements that matter, and how those achievements advanced humanity and the Humanities in some measurable way. Their sexual orientation or identity is mostly irrelevant to their accomplishments.

Every parent should sue the state for defrauding them (the taxpayers) for not educatind their children! Reading and math grads will be in the gutter, but all the kids will know how to cross dress, and have proper anal ax. Time for school vouchers! Kill the public education system and their unions!.
