IIRC the toon adminstration was caught making every NICS check fail the first time ensuring there was a record of all of them. OR making a copy of the database on to other media prior to the 24hr expiry. It’s been 20+years since this was in the news and of course it’s nowhere to be found on the net. Do you remember this? There are plenty of laws already on the books. If those were followed by state and local jurisdictions, this wouldn’t be a federal issue. Example: the gross negligence by the Broward County sheriff and his staff.e
Don’t these morons realize that red flag laws will make it less likely that people will seek help for mental or emotional problems? Who is going to go to a counselor or psychiatrist if he knows that SWAT may break into his house in the middle of the night? As usual, every time government tries to help, it makes things far worse.
If you know anyone who works as a mental health professional, point this out to them and urge them to contact their senators and representatives.
Before leisurely taking away citizens freedoms we need to examine the causes behind these shootings and what is wrong with our society and especially young people.
Our military has fought and lost hundreds of thousands of lives defending our freedoms. We can not afford to give up our freedoms to leftists from Hollywood and Rusia. These are our freedoms and once lost will never be recovered.
