Ping.
So draw up a bill for extensive background checks on purchasing a firearm, voter ID, immigration. All three go together. A social trifecta.
Watch no one touch it.
The NRA needs to extract their collective brain housing groups for that place where the sun never shines. For too many years and on too many issues they have deliberately decided to “dance with the Devil” and it has caught up to them.
My support and my money go to Gun Owners Of America. They have earned my trust and my respect.
Yes, wonderful idea.
Piece may be accurate or it may not be accurate but given the source I lean decidedly towards did believing.
IMO, Democrats and foreign culture, political class Republicans in blue states would do anything to pass laws against our Second Amendment rights. When a vehicle backfires, they stampede over their kids and smash them flat.
Yea, sure they did.
Ugh.
Trump is reflexively for gun control. And in the context of NYC, which is relatively safe despite pro-criminal laws because it has 80 cops per square mile, that may make some sense. But elsewhere, people need their guns to stay safe. He needs to think very carefully about his actions in the days and weeks ahead if he wants to win in 2020. Because gun owners who stay home on election day could put the kibosh on those hopes.
Can the White House just say that “We ain’t touchin’ the Second Amendment in spirit or in letter no way no how!”?
And let that be the end of it.
It should be clear by now that the only way to deal with the satanic left is to fight them head on. Not to give an inch or give up.
Appeasing them - or worrying about ‘the optics’ only serves to embolden them and make them stronger.
All semi-auto firearms are to be turned over to the government within one week or face five years in prison per gun.... :)
THis is clearly an agenda piece, which will undoubtedly lead to other articles that link the NRA to Trump. The "truth" within is merely a bit of appetizers to whet the appetite for liberals for what's to come.
I did the same thing.
Most of the mass shooters can or did pass background checks. Most common criminals wouldn’t take a background because they don’t want a throwdown gun tied to them.
UBC’s are an enormous and required step toward registration.
I’ve been checked. I got the stupid permit. That’s enough. Don’t violate my rights to mollify some screaming liberals.
Here’s one from Fox News that shows Trump wanting to pass gun control and the NRA’s opposition against gun control. Some blue state Republicans have been misinforming us about the issue.

Excellent idea. IOW, make up a crap sandwich and see if Congress will eat (vote) it. Make it so unpalatable that no one on either side of the aisle will wanna vote for it.
Democrats want something and the whole world stops until SOMETHING IS DONE!
We want something, nothing ever gets done.
Please someone tell me, are these things cost effective and proven ways to stop the criminal and tragic misuse of firearms and also do not intrude on the rights of the law abiding? These should be the simple tests of their worthiness of being legislation.
