I see your problem right there: thinking the States, let alone the Fed. govt adhere/enforce & govern via the Constitution.
Show where this “Fed grant” authority comes from 1st.
I haven’t seen, since the 60’s, Fedzilla standing up for Citizen Rights vs. the State. Pres. Trump has, as of yet, to have the DOJ/FBI/ICE+ roll through and arrest/prosecute the law-breaking w/in the halls of govt (@ *ANY* level)
