Agreed. Red flag laws are not valid and will not be obeyed. Resist.

Once it’s gone we will never get it back...

That's a fact.

The way I see this is we can't afford to lose the 2nd Amendment and we can't afford to lose Trump. So the question becomes 'how do we go about keeping both?'

Isn't that about how he approaches a problem?

"I was leery of this until I read judge Naps article on the 2A. You know he is not known to support Trump but he said the RF law would be judged totally unconstitutional, good column in Wash Times."

Like they judged the VAWA confiscations and imprisonments against the Second Amendment and the Bill of Rights unconstitutional? They rejected the cases and refused to resolve it to this day. "Naps" is not a name trusted for credibility.

He needs to know this is serious and it is not just the NRA. This is a line in the sand for the law abiding citizens who will reelect him or not. Time to back up, slow down, and take a breather until the emotions are a little calmer. This thing is being rushed and it is far too big to rush like this.

What's going to get passed? It's the job of Congress to pass laws. Doesn't mean that it'll pass and reach the President's desk.

I wouldn’t put my faith in the Congress critters to do the right thing. We already know the Dems are loonies, but there are far too many RINO’s on the other side of the aisle.

Most of the gun owners were between the ages of five and nine and their weapons were cap guns.

So they will what? Vote for Biden or some other who proposes to take all guns away?

Yeah, I really think it is a fantastic idea to let bonafide nut jobs keep and acquire more guns so their rights are not violated. Great cause to line up behind.

In a responsible society family would take care of problem people and / or they would be institutionalized.

Who needs proof? A spouse can claim domestic violence and these days they have to prove innocence rather than guilt. Or it could be a neighbor or anyone.

Here is a Gun Owners of America (GOA) link to sign a petition/send emails to all 50 Senators against Graham’s Red Flag bill. https://oneclickpolitics.global.ssl.fastly.net/messages/edit?promo_id=6840

Problem with sending them an email where you have to enter your name/address/phone is, they will gather this information and ship it to the ATF/FBI Jack Boots so the emailers will be the first on the new "Red Flag List".

He is making rush judgement kneejerk decisions coming from his daughter and campaign advisors based on immediate sentiment. What they tell him is an election advantage is actually a huge disadvantage. With decisions come the consequences of those decisions. He needs to slow down and think twice about this one.

A large percent of the Psychiatrists are queers and degenerates. Would you want your freedom and future decided by a queer of pervert? If so make sure that Ref Flag Laws are passed At this point in time it looks like a shoo in that will be passed. What happens next is anybody’s guess.

"Those laws exist at the state level, not federal."

Except that the bipartisan plan is to coerce the remaining states into passing them with funding schemes (as was done with other anti-Second-Amendment and anti-family laws).

"Check back in one week when the cacophony is not so deafening."

Yes. When real Americans go quiet, you'll know that you'll get what you asked for in 2020.
