This morning at 7:30 AM (Phoenix time) former FBI Agent Steve Hooper joined radio host Mike Broomhead on the Mike Broomhead Show on KFYI 550 AM 6-10AM).
Steve Hooper is a 30 year veteran of the FBI. Hooper said the El Paso shooter, during interviews, says he was triggered after watching the DNC debate where all the candidates raised their hands to provide health insurance to illegal immigrants.
It was the insanity at the Democrat Presidential debates that triggered the shooter, not Trumps language.
Here is the audio from the Mike Broomhead Show this morning.
Steve Hooper: When the most recent debate when they all said free healthcare, they all raised their hands. Thats what pushed him over the edge. He felt he was justified. He felt he ran out of alternatives.

Because it wasnt his manifesto.
Best theory I’ve seen so far.
Do you think the FBI will determine the validity of that document? I would like to know what was on his computer and phone.
Brett Stevens’
Its amazing this guy is alive and youll be talking for the next Im teen years since the death penalty when it does happen is very far away
I have no reason to believe this story is truthful. There are too many agendas in play. Who benefits from this story? Who loses? And how do these roles get changed when the story is discredited?
FBI Agents (current and former) do not have a lot of credibility these days.
He was afraid the immigrants were going to cut into his free stuff rations.
This guy hasn't worked for the FBI for 6 years, his expertise was in intelligence and counterintelligence, and he spent his career in Washington DC and Arizona, not El Paso.
Even if it wasn't Gateway Pundit what makes anyone think he would have such incredibly sensitive information?
Because even a crazed lunatic never once considered that free health care for illegals was even a possibility.
Good guess.
“Why didnt he put that in his manifesto?”
It wasn’t HIS manifesto!
Oh, thats a good one.
If an “FBI Insider” told me it was raining, I would have to look out the window to check. /s

So he decided to mass murder innocent people. He’s nuts.
He’s making an excuse for killing as many people as possible, which he’s wanted to do all his life.
His manifesto seemed overly mature. Has there been any serious discussion anywhere on that relative to his education and previous writing patterns?
But if that was the reason he set out to do what he did and then he documented his reasons it stands to reason he would have said it in his so called manifesto.
