Did you read anything I said or did you just continue espousing your pre ordained talking points?
I read it. I agree with what you said after the part I quoted. However, my point was not about how this is being politicized (I think it is, and in the ways you stated, among others).
Your response was to my point, which is that just as we can identify crazy fourth wave feminists, we may be able to do the same with these whacked males. And since the males tend to act out the way a male on the edge will (loner, shooting up a school/mall, etc.) it may behoove us to work toward that solution. And let’s be frank, the things people say in a public forum can be a clue.
Bottom line is that i’m trying to think about this from a “what might actually work” perspective. Calling out the other side regarding their politicization of this is helpful in keeping us from going down the wrong trails, but it doesn’t help us to go down the right trail. I’d like to do more than just expose what they are doing wrong. I’d like to work towards working out what they could do right.
