Fox News contributor and Chicago native Gianno Caldwell said Tuesday that following the deadliest weekend of the year in Chicago, it’s time to “speak up.”

“Things are becoming progressively worse considering the fact that you’ve had a state run by Democrats who really ran it into the ground,” Caldwell told “Fox & Friends.”

Host Brian Kilmeade said eight of the 108 state lawmakers in Illinois are backing legislation that would pull Chicago out of the state, making it the 51st state, in hopes of changing the power dynamics in federal elections.

Been saying this for years. Also Pennsylvania should secede from Philadelphia, Washington from Seattle, Oregon from Portland, Minnesota from Minneapolis/St. Paul, Missouri from St. Louis, maybe Wisconsin from Milwaukee, and Michigan from Detroit.

RE: Speak Up

How about just throwing Chicago, Philadelphia, Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis/St. Paul, St. Louis, Milwaukee, Detroit and Flint out of the Union? Let the "lower creatures fend for themselves."

Wrote this e-mail to a GOP Quisling today that has bought into the “white nationalist” meme.

Dear sir:

The shooter in Dayton is a democrat supporter who favored gun control and a host of far left policies. Did Trump encourage or the GOP encourage him? If so, how? Please don’t say he drove their hatred. Every and any Republican drives their hatred.

Why is it that the weekly mass shootings in Chicago and other inner cities are ignored? The majority of the victims are poor minorities. Isn’t ignoring those deaths racist? Do black lives not matter when one is pushing or buying into a certain narrative and far left agenda?

Unfortunately, there have been numerous mass shootings in the US this year yet most have been carried out by non “white supremacists.” Is one less dead if shot by a non-racist? Or is it that a mass shooting doesn’t get that classification if it isn’t carried out by a neo-Nazi?

Do you think it’s a coincidence that Dayton has faded from national news coverage and only El Paso is mentioned? Why is it that none of the ISIS motivated shootings that happened during the Obama Administration received this kind of attention and focus in radical Islam? Why is the shooting of GOP congressmen buried in the national discussion on “hate?”

Why is it ok for the left to use the blood of innocents to push their agenda and completely divorce the cultural rot that they have pushed for decades as a root cause?

Do you honestly believe that if Jeb Bush were President right now the media and left would not be saying that he is a “white nationalist” responsible for mass shootings? After all, they ran advertisements against Jeb’s father and brother in turn accusing them of being responsible for a dragging death of a young black male and the fire bombing of black churches.

Do you not see that no matter what the circumstances or who is in power the left will always call you and the GOP racists? It is all that they have, period.

You sir, are a quisling for the democrat agenda, the true agenda of hatred that seeks to keep minorities poor and dependent while importing into this country and entirely new population of dependents. All of it being done in the name of power. All the while the elites in the democrat party live in their wealthy surroundings.

Too bad states can’t create states.

What Illinois could do, I think, is repeal the act that created the Chicago municipality, turning into an unincorporated part of the state.

While we are at it, let’s kick out all of California 75 miles inland from lower LA to the outskirts of San Francisco.

Pssst. Hey Gianno. The Leftist Liberal News Media doesn’t care about Blacks dying by the hundreds in Chicago by Black on Black shootings.

What happens on that Plantation STAYS on that Plantation.

Yes, they can.

Article 4 - The States
Section 3 - New States

New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new States shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.

And even the part about “without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned” is iffy since Virginia never gave West Virginia consent to form a new state as it was the middle of the Civil War, yet Congress okayed it. So precedence says that permission of the parent states’ legislatures is not exactly required.

A 4 S 3 is the US Congress, not the Illinois Congress.

“Do black lives not matter when one is pushing or buying into a certain narrative and far left agenda?”

It is based on a hierarchy the liberals use for their causes. Women are more important than any victimized group with the exception of liberal white men. Black males are at the bottom of the hierarchy.

I will need to create a chart of this. I think it could get some good play.

Where in the Illinois constitution does it prohibit division into two or more states? Also, if you are seceding from the state, i.e. rural Illinois secedes from Chicago, how would you still be bound to follow the rules of the state you are rejecting?

The article describes Illinois state legislators attempting to make Chicago a state. I pointed out that only the Feds can do that. It does require Illinois consent, but it originates from the US Congress.
