Its because Mercury is out of retrograde, according to Pete Alonso.
50 games left, 32 at home, they've won 57 and have to get to about 85 wins for a wild card. It's doable, given their pitching & hitting. But the most important thing is they kept the team together, rather than trade off pieces. So, in keeping with the memory of Casey Stengel, Good pitching will always stop good hitting and vice-versa. :):):)
