We need to ban chocolate chip cookies and confiscate all large capacity cookie jars.

Isn’t that the company that makes Ding-Dongs, as well?

First they came for the Twinkies, and I did not speak out—
Because I don’t like Twinkies.
Then they came for the Ring Ding Juniors, and I did not speak out—
Because I’m not crazy about Ring Ding Juniors.
Then they came for the Chocolate Chip cookies, and I —
OK. Now I’m upset.

No chocolate chip cookie ever lived long enough in this house to be recalled.

Grupo Bimbo is a Mexican baking conglomerate. They’ve been buying up American firms and trademarks. They’re now the largest commercial bakery company in the U.S.

No. Dont think so. Never had, and the saving apparently never happened.

Fortunately the new Hostess (formed after Interstate Bakeries went bankrupt and the name was purchased) isn’t Bimbo owned or Mexico based. It is based in KC, MO and still operating 4 of the 11 former factories of Interstate Bakeries.
