If we step back and consider the back facts, that he is/was attracted to media attention, that he fancied the idea of being president, then his ongoing reactions and behavior begins to make perfect sense.
Consider some of his more effecting branding and marketing techniques, like 'swamp', MAGA, etc. In retrospect, don't they appear to greatly diminish what is really occurring - civil war - and ignore what must actually be done?
What if the White Russians had come up with a clever name like the 'swamp' to describe Communist Reds? It's a far cry from describing the true challenge faced by Russian patriots in the ensuing revolution and resulting civil wars.
So too Trump; his dialogue and manner doesn't exhibit the qualities a Lincoln would express. That is, someone who fully understands what is occurring, and what must be done to counter the threat to liberty and freedom.
If this is true, then it's best to out Trump now, to reveal his lack of resolve for all of his (former) base to see. Perhaps it's time we begin to consider what a real post-constitutional republic looks like, rather than continue to engage in denial and fanciful belief in a network of secret, hidden powers that will save us all. LOL
You get the award for the stupidest post ever on this website.
This was posted by someone who ...
1. Never met Lincoln.
2. Never saw him speak in person.
3. Never heard him speak in person.
4. Never saw a video clip of him speaking.
5. Never heard an audio clip of him speaking.
And you're going to tell us about his "dialogue and manner?"
I agree with ReasonIsFaith. That was one of the dumbest posts I've seen here in a long time.
