But I don’t think an internet site could be responsible because crazy people do crazy things.
People who don’t know how the internet works say funny things.
I am fully in agreement with the owner of the site.
I was an admin for a “non-partisan” website and saw the strangest behavior imaginable. Korean seeded users that were like fake news bots or current Twitter bots. People that made up professions/status and people that did nothing but post awful articles then would never comment or defend the troll bombs they threw in the room.
The site got sold, why anyone would buy it I don’t know. However I would fully have endorsed a shut down if we became known for what 8chan is known and used for.
8chan is the online equivalent of 1,000 people shouting fire in a crowded theater and that’s putting it mildly. Online investigations of people may begin with social media but they should really begin there.
These left wing shooters were likely using Twitter, Fakebook and Google. All of those need to be shutdown too.

If they shut down 8chan then how will the Q bots function? To where will they go to get their Q posts?
Why don’t the police monitor the site to see what’s up?

So now they’re using mass shootings to go after the First and Second Amendments at the same time (and the Fourth, since the FBI wants to step up its power to monitor “potential” shooters on social media before they commit crimes).
