When asked by CBS's "Face the Nation" host if he supports returning to D.C. for a vote, Sen. Tim Scott (D-S.C.) said he'd "be happy to go back."
"I'd leave tonight. I'll go tomorrow, it doesn't matter to me. This is such an important issue," Scott said.
The Democrat Party, their membership are entirely too sick with lust of power to be in any position of leadership influencing our Constitution, our culture, our society.

Perhaps it was his eagerness for new gun legislation that threw the writer and/or editor off.
Lots of FR folks are every bit as immune to sarcasm and irony as any leftist.
I would support a bill that would keep guns out of the hands of mass killers. This being said I don’t believe there is the ability to determine who mass killers are until after the fact.

The 2nd Amendment still says we have the right to own guns and that this right shall not be infringed. This right is God given and natural as a means of self protection.
The 2nd Amendment is really all about insuring our natural right can’t be undone by lunatic politicians. Sure, it spells out or right to own firearms, but mostly it’s a check on our own government.
When a Muslim goes whack and commits a mass killing, we're always told "don't blame ALL Muslims".
How come we have to blame ALL guns when a gun goes whack - especially since guns don't have religions, ideologies or even conscious thought?

Tim Scott has always been aTrump hating RINO. He’s called Trump time and again a racist.The only reason in hell he was elected to the Senate was because of Bush league WHITE republicans voting for him. For the first couple years in the senate he didn’t open his mouth. Then he got brave when fellow RINO Nicky Haley threw the Confederate flag under the bus when she caved to the race-baiters and blamed the Church shooting on the flag instead of the ass who committed the crime. Scott of course weighed in and sided with Haley and the democrats. Scott should go ahead and switch parties because he’s the worse US senator in the history of the state. If
Trey Gowdy ran against him he’d win by 50 points.
Maybe The Shrill Hill has been the ones doctoring profiles of these crazed shooters.
