They know it's their only route for a huge piece of the pie, through theft along the way, which most are good at.

Chakradude did serious damage to AOC by having her make herself into a national figure even before she was in office. I can tell you with absolute certainty that no more than 2% of the constituents in her district give a damn about that "Green new Deal" she was peddling.

Since she was elected, the only time I've seen her name attached to a local story that had implications for her own district was that debacle where Amazon pulled out of its New York City project over the local political opposition (including AOCs). That's no way to start a career in Congress.

Well it was apparent his aspirations were for power and wealth for himself.....

AOC was the means for that he could get no other way without a front man......

and he resigned largely because he is under federal investigation

for 'gross campaign finance crimes' which also implicates AOC.

She's getting big bags under eyes now....

... she [Pelosi] could teach Republicans how to effective silence and disappear their enemies.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Here’s the formula as I see it .....

First, the Repub ‘leaders’ have to grow a ‘set’ [brass, at a minimum, would be preferable], next they have to be absolutely & totally ruthless in their will to obtain & maintain power at all costs [nothing is off the table], then just threaten bad things and ramp up threats as necessary (no committee assignments, no money for re-election, persona non grata with caucus, any blackmail that could be compiled on them, etc. ) and voila .... after you’ve made a few examples of people to prove you’re serious and you will act on your threats, various recalcitrant Repubs would fall into line. If you really want them actually ‘disappeared’, not just politically disappeared, let it be known to the Clintons that the target person is a danger to exposing their corruption, & the target may end up truly ‘disappeared’ (only half joking here). What do I think the chances are of Repubs ever following the Pelosi Plan? About zero.

Yes, I suspect you’re right. But since I think that Chakrabarti is her brain, she’s going to be more incoherent than ever if possible.

Well she did damage to herself easily enough...and the constituents in her district have been upset with her performance since she took office as she ignores their concerns. She was never in it for them nor those who ran her campaign. She’s going to have to perform now under Pelosi’s direction in order to sustain the seat as Dem.

Will be interesting to see what AOC says monday or if she skips school.

The arrangement skirted reporting requirements and may have violated the $5,000 limit on contributions, according to the FEC complaint filed by the National Legal and Policy Center, a government watchdog group.

These alleged campaign contributions mean nothing to me.

Liz :"..make no mistake......ousting him comes at a price for her. Nancy musta hit her hard."

I'll bet it was Nancy that gave her the "Heads Up"
that the cash cow was coming to an end
as well as the threat of the forthcoming Fed investigation.
Those two issues are enough to 'gag' her from seeking more immediate publicity.

He works for the Democrats - he’s safe from ever being held accountable for anything he did - at the very least, he didn’t intend to do it........

.....bet when they had their little one-on-one, Nancy gave AOC the "Heads Up" ....
(A) the cash cow was coming to an end, (B) the Feds were on the move ........

Chakrabati is quite the con man.....wonder how many other Democrats he taught
to use the "campaign donation conversion scheme?"

=====================================

I would bet good money Democrats have no idea how easy it is for L/E to nail this scam.
AFAIK, banks photocopy the back and front of all checks coming into their facilities,

It's very easy for L/E to find out
<><> (a) which campaign group the check was made out to, and,
<><> (b) which account they siphoned it into.

==============================================

All campaign donors who wrote out checks to a regulated campaign organization should be part
of a class action suit for using their names and money to pull off money laudering and bank fraud.

Banks have entire offices that do nothing but process checks that come into their facilities.....from every branch.
We're talking hundreds of thousands of checks. ....checks leave a very pronounced paper trail.

A story was related WRT a bank employee who worked in the check processing dept.
She needed money, so she took a check, somehow altered it, and was able to re-cash it.

The bank knew in days who the culprit was. She was immediately fired.

He overplayed his hand when he saw AOC was front page news——and he put her there.

The temptation was too great......he figured time to go public.....to get recognition......to get credit for it all.

Money was in the mix.....his services could be had....for a price.

He is probably going to get indicted along with AOC. He's wealthy enough to still work on the sidelines but she will have to go back to bartending. She probably will not finish out her term without someone telling her what to do. She's going to be like a spinning top until she runs out of steam.

It will be interesting to see what nonsense come out of her mouth. I must admit that she has been quite entertaining. Especially that crying bit behind a fence in the parking lot.
