Activists in Poland say so-called LGBT-free zones across the predominantly Catholic country point to efforts by the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party to stoke anti-LGBT sentiment ahead of a parliamentary election this fall.
Local media reports suggest that across Poland, more than two dozen cities and towns — some led by PiS members — have declared their regions LGBT-free zones in recent months. The majority are situated in the historically conservative southeastern part of the country.
While the declarations are not enforceable, activists say they signal a targeted effort to exclude LGBT residents.
"It's a statement saying that a specific kind of people is not welcome there," said Ola Kaczorek, co-president of the Warsaw-based Love Does Not Exclude Association.
The number of supposedly LGBT-free regions has grown since Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski signed a declaration in February supporting sexual and gender diverse communities in that city, Kaczorek said.

Theres a reason we had a “closet” for centuries.Homosexuality is a perversion of nature. Acceptence of it degrades society and peoples integrity.
As a society we need morals and standards to excel and grow.Going against nature shows a mental handicap and lack of understanding of the most basic of scientific principles.

It seems like every time I turn around, LBGT-AM and FM agenda is shoved down my throat. I’d be for this, like Poland.

That’s because most Poles are reasonably intelligent people, they don’t like QUEERS and LESBOS for very good reasons.
1: They don’t reproduce, therefore no more Poles.
2: They are the greatest spreaders of sexually transmitted disease.
3: They are generally atheistic, the Poles are mostly Catholic, they believe in GOD and GOD’S laws, the QUEERS don’t.
4: The QUEERS and LESBOS keep pushing their perverted, unnatural lifestyle down other peoples throats; trust me, we don’t want to know.
LGBT is an obviously aggressive, hostile action on society.
It has no cooperative intentions. Push back — with much pride.
Finally, a country with balls and brains.
